We put a lot of thought into how we source our fresh fruit, veg, and salad. Ideally, we would like to move more towards only stocking what is local and seasonal, but there is always a balance to be struck between that and providing a range of products that customers expect to see.

Ali grows delicious and nutritious vegetables on the farmland just above Chettle Village Store and we are lucky enough that she sells them through us!

Everything Ali sells has been sown, planted, and harvested by hand and is delivered to the shop in a giant wheelbarrow. How's that for low food miles?
