Walks Around Chettle

All of our walks start and finish at Chettle Village Store. Park for free, grab a coffee or cold drink and something for the journey, then head out and explore.

And when you get back...coffee and cake are waiting!

You can download any of these walks by clicking the buttons below or pick up a paper copy from the shop.

2.5 Mile Walk

Approx. 1 hour

A shorter walk around Chettle, perfect for a quick dog walk or a gentle countryside stroll.

3 Mile Walk

Approx. 1.5 hours

Enjoy excellent views of Chettle House before passing the site of the Iron Age Settlement and tumuli.

5 Mile Walk

Approx. 2 hours

A longer route featuring a prominent longbarrow, Tarrant Gunville, and the wider surrounding estate.

6 Mile Walk

Approx. 2.5 hours

A rewarding yomp taking you through Farnham (via the pub!) before meandering back through the fields to Chettle.
